Here to fight for you.

My practice focuses primarily on trial-level criminal defense. In addition to private representation, I am a contracting trial attorney with Colorado's Office of Alternate Defense Counsel, representing individuals who qualify for court appointed counsel across the State. I have also worked for the courts as "advisory counsel" in a number of jury trials for pro-se litigants.

Practice Areas:

- Municipal ordinance violations/petty offenses

- Misdemeanor state violations

- Felony state violations

- Violation of probation

Office based in Denver -

Representation Colorado wide.

Through law school, I worked with with the ACLU of Colorado, the Colorado Civil Rights Division, and the Colorado State Public Defender's office in various capacities. Immediately after graduating law school, myself and two fellow-graduates founded Brown Chase & Shulman LLC. Through my work as a Partner in that firm, I worked to represent Coloradans in landlord-tenant matters, civil rights cases, and in criminal defense.

Today, my sole focus is criminal defense and the task of holding the Government to its burden of proof. I represent individuals charged with a wide variety of criminal offenses, ranging from petty theft to felony drug cases and beyond. I have experience practicing in many metro-area County and District Courts, as well as those in a few Colorado rural counties.
